PackSpecs / packaging data rescue

Scattered supplier files, turned into one usable packaging record.

PackSpecs turns specifications, spreadsheets, and missing answers into a source-linked component record your team and EPR adviser can review.

Built for the handoff gap

For growing beauty and personal-care brands with outsourced packaging.

Your packaging facts often sit across supplier PDFs, purchasing sheets, dielines, inboxes, and employee memory. Before an adviser can use those facts, someone has to assemble the record and show what is still unresolved.

PackSpecs is a bounded manual service for US brands with roughly 20–250 SKUs. It does not replace your EPR adviser or determine your filing obligations.

The work

A traceable record, not a cleaner-looking mystery spreadsheet.

Every row keeps its source state visible so reviewers can separate known facts from work still owed.

01

Inventory the evidence

Map the SKUs, components, suppliers, files, and known source dates provided by your team.

02

Normalize the record

Structure component materials, weights, packaging levels, and recycled-content fields without hiding gaps.

03

Flag what needs action

Separate confirmed facts from missing, contradictory, and estimated entries, with the source beside each one.

Pilot output

One customer-reviewable package.

The output is designed to support internal review and a clean handoff to the specialist responsible for regulatory interpretation or reporting.

Practical questions

Before you send any files.

What inputs do you need?

A SKU list plus the packaging records you already have: supplier specifications, BOMs, dielines, purchase sheets, declarations, or related correspondence. Intake should not include consumer personal data.

Will you contact suppliers?

Only with explicit customer authorization. Otherwise, the pilot produces a request tracker your team can use.

Does this make us compliant?

No. PackSpecs organizes source evidence and exceptions. Your legal counsel, EPR adviser, or reporting owner decides applicability and how the record is used.

Is PackSpecs software?

No. This validation-stage offer is a manually delivered service. There is no account, upload portal, subscription, or integration.
